Are you interested in a crawl course in Zurich?

Located in the heart of Zurich, the swimming school has many years of experience in offering crawl courses for adults. We offer both group and private swimming lessons in Zurich.

Learning the crawl technique correctly requires a wide range of movement experience in the water. This is systematically built up through targeted and varied crawl technique exercises. The basics of crawl swimming are taught intensively in crawl course 1 and crawl 1.

The crawl course 1 is aimed at beginners and lays the technical foundations of crawling. In addition, we now also offer the intensive crawl 1 course. In terms of content, this course corresponds completely to Crawl Course 1, but is held in a compact form with fewer lessons and a smaller group size to enable a more intensive learning setting.

In the advanced crawl course 2 and swim yourself fit courses, the focus is on targeted refinement of the movement sequence and building up basic swimming-specific endurance.

Prerequisites:

  • You are not afraid of deep water and you can safely swim 400 meters in the breaststroke.

Course content for 4 lessons of 45 minutes each (with max. 6 participants)

  • Crawl arm pull rough form
  • Simple paddle shapes for the water feel
  • Leg kick variations
  • Swimming with short fins
  • Integration of dry runs
  • Involvement of specialist media

Prerequisites:

  • You are not afraid of deep water and you can safely swim 400 meters in the breaststroke.

Course content for 6 lessons of 45 minutes each (with max. 8-10 participants)

  • Crawl arm stroke fine form (final form)
  • Paddle shapes for advanced paddlers
  • Leg kick variations
  • Swimming with short fins
  • Increased length swimming
  • Simple crawl turn
  • Involvement of specialist media

Prerequisites:

  • You’ve already taken a front crawl course (at swim4u.ch) and now want to consolidate what you’ve learned. You can swim approximately 25 meters using a 2- or 3-count breathing pattern. Your head position is sufficiently flat while breathing.

Course content:

  • Longer swimming sessions (approx. 1.5 – 2.0 km per training session)
  • Interval units
  • Technique blocks
  • Swimming with short fins
  • Swimming with Paddels
  • Roll turn (flipturn)
  • Involvement of specialist media

Prerequisites:

  • Attend a crawl course 1&2 (swim4u) or similar. Good water position, including 3- or 2-count breathing, and be able to crawl at least 500 meters.

What else you should know:

  • The course is also ideal for triathlon beginners who want to specifically train swimming.
